I watched the Jaycee Dugard interview with Diane Sawyer. What an amazing young woman she is!
ReplyDeleteBless her heart. I watched the interview with Diane Sawyer and was first appalled that Diane Sawyer had the audacity to interview this poor girl after all she has been through. I wish she and her daughters could just have some peace. As for how she survived it, I am guessing that she learned the tools of self-reliance early on. Her father left the family, her step father had sent her away the year prior to her kidnapping, that is a lot for a child her age to deal with. I feel so sad for her that she can't even grieve that which was lost but admire her being able to pack up and move on with her life as she has done.
